The difference between a regular headache and a migraine is that a migraine headache tends to be disabling. Most people have to stop what they’re doing and get some sleep. The other difference is that a migraine headache usually has some symptoms that an ordinary tension does not. Some of these symptoms include sensitivity to light, sensitivity, to noise, nausea, vomiting, and sometimes what’s called an aura, which means seeing some spots, twinkles, or other change in the vision prior to the headache.
I think people should pay attention to what gives them a migraine. In other words, if they always notice they have a migraine after eating something or drinking something, that’s what they should avoid. The common things that people get migraine headaches are from chocolate, red wine and cured meats.
Those are things that people might want to start avoiding if they want to cut down on their headaches.
