Telemedicine Appointments Now Available

Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, Culicchia Neurological and CNC Hearing and Balance Center is converting patient visits to virtual visits through telemedicine.  All in-person office visits will be reserved for emergencies only or when the physician feels an in-office visit is needed.

Our phone lines will be open and our doctors and practitioners are available for telemedicine consultation for regular appointments or in-person visits for emergencies.  We urge all patients to sign up for the patient portal and make sure we have a valid email address.

The Telemedicine Process Using Doxy.me

Your telemedicine appointment will take place on a secure platform called Doxy.me , which can be accessed by smartphone, tablet or computer.  Here is how it works:

  1. Prior to your scheduled appointment,  patients will receive an email invitation from their doctor to join the appointment using Doxy.me .
  2. Accept the invitation.
  3. Enable the camera.  Although “phone-only” is an option, the platform works best using a camera.
  4. You will then  enter the virtual waiting room.Wait until the physician is ready to begin the appointment.  You will be able to see and talk to your physician.

1. Patients will receive an invitation to join their telemedicine appointment via email

2. After clicking on the email, enter your full name in the box and check-in.

3. Grant camera access so you and your doctor can see each other. A phone-only option is available.

We will revisit this policy each week in light of COVID-19 precautions.  Please check back regularly for updates .  This telemedicine policy applies to all Culicchia Neurological and CNC Hearing offices.  We appreciate your patience and understanding as we all work to minimize exposure to the virus.
