Dr. Cole Lewis
Culicchia Neurological announced the addition of two neurosurgeons to its medical staff.
Dr. Cole T. Lewis completed a fellowship in cranial neurosurgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and a residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School, where he also obtained his medical degree. He was awarded the most valuable resident award during his chief resident year at UT-Houston. Dr. Lewis is also a clinical assistant professor of neurosurgery at LSU Health New Orleans.
Dr. Lewis is currently seeing patients at the Culicchia Neurological Marrero and Uptown offices.
Dr. Adam Podet
Neurosurgeon Adam Podet completed his residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Department of Neurosurgery, where he was awarded resident of the year. Dr. Podet is also a clinical assistant professor of neurosurgery at LSU Health New Orleans. He is now seeing patients at the Culicchia Neurological office in Marrero as well as the New Orleans East Hospital.
As neurosurgeons, Drs. Podet and Lewis treat structural disorders of the brain, spine, and peripheral nerves, including trauma, tumors, malformations, and spinal instability.
