Dr. Aaron Mammoser sees patients at the West Jefferson Cancer Center through his affiliation with LSU Health New Orleans, where he is Associate Professor of Neuro-Oncology in the Department of Neurosurgery. He also holds the Kelsey Bradley Favrot Chair of Neuro-Oncology.
Prior to coming to New Orleans, Dr. Mammoser was on the faculty of the University of Michigan, where he was a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Neurology with subspecialty training in Neuro-Oncology.He treated patients in the Neuro-Oncology Clinic in the Comprehensive Cancer Center.
Dr. Mammoser received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in 1994, his master’s degree from Roswell Park Cancer Institute in 2000 and his medical degree from the University at Buffalo in 2005. He completed his Neurology residency at the University of Michigan before completing his fellowship training in Neuro-Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
