Dr. St. John of CNC  Hearing and Balance Center has been a clinical audiologist for over 20 years with her clinical experience beginning at The Medical Center of Louisiana (Charity Hospital) and LSU ENT clinics in New Orleans treating newborns to the elderly. Clinical areas of interest include: hearing fittings with real ear measurements, management of unusual hearing loss with assistive listening devices, advanced evoked potential testing, and Vestibular evaluations. She participated in the newborn hearing screening program for University Hospital with follow-up diagnostic ABR testing prior to Hurricane Katrina in August 2005.

Dr. St. John served as an instructor for LSU- Kresge Hearing Research Lab courses: Basic ABR with Oto-acoustic Emissions, Advanced Auditory Brainstem Testing, Hearing aids and Real Ear Measurements, and Identification and Management of Hearing Loss. She coordinated clinical cases for research purposes with LSU – Kresge Hearing Research Laboratory faculty on Auditory Dys-synchrony, Hereditary hearing loss, and Usher Syndrome. She is an instructor for the annual Audiology and Vestibular course for the LSU ENT residents.

Following Hurricane Katrina while pursuing and obtaining her Audiology doctorate, she re-established the LSU-ENT Hearing aid clinic in New Orleans and began the Hearing & Balance Center with Dr. Moises Arriaga at Our Lady of the Lake in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Clinical services were expanded to begin the CNC Hearing & Balance Center (CNC-HBC) and Hearing Solutions in Marrero in 2012 with a second location added in Uptown New Orleans by 2013.

Dr. St. John is currently seeing patients at CNC-HBC for evaluation and management of hearing loss and balance disorders. She is performing comprehensive audiological evaluations, Rotational chair testing, Videonystagmography, Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials, Auditory Brainstem Response Testing, Electrocochleography, Electronystagmography, Canalith repositioning, Hearing aid evaluations, Tinnitus Evaluations, Hearing aid fittings with Real Ear Testing, and Bone anchored hearing aid evaluation and fittings.[/twocol_one]
